Hoppits Hill Race - Supporters

Inov-8 have donated prizes for the Hoppits races for many years now. They are manufacturers of quality running clothing and shoes based in Staveley in the Lake District. I have worn their products since 2003 and have watched the company grow from strength to strength.

Pete Bland sports have donated vouchers for the Hoppits races since 2020. They are a fell running shop based in Kendal but can be seen at many a fell race up and down the country with their famous travelling shop. A staple go to retailer for all your fell and mountain running needs.

Years ago I ordered a Thermos flask online and then realised that the warehouse was actually in Mirfield. Since then I have always knocked on the door and been greeted by their very friendly and helpful staff. They were only too happy to donate some Kids Lunch boxes for Hoppits prizes and advertise the race. A highly recommended business whether online or in person you always get a quality product with quality service. Note- the warehouse is moving to near Mirfield Station soon - I'm sure the website will have the new address.

Jeff Miller from Third Step Books is going to set up his book stall at the Hoppits Races and has kindly offered to donate some books for prizes. If you like running / climbing / mountaineering / explorer books then you must take a look at his website. He's got some real classics on there.

Jeff has been a friend of ours for many years with his business; Charlottes Jersey Icecreams overlooking some land where our cattle graze and the Hoppits Hill Blue and Senior race passes through. He very kindly donated some vouchers for the August bank Holiday races and we hope to see him at the Spring 2015 races with his Icecream vans!

Genki Gear is owned by my sister and her husband; Lydia and Phil English. Together they design and produce quality tee-shirts in the UK. The tee-shirt designs are based on the great style of Japan, Anime and Sci-fi mixed in with Phil's rather ecliptic sense of humour. Take a look at all their designs and I'm sure you will find the tee-shirt that you connect with. Phil designed the lovely cow emblem for the Junior medals and they have donated a selection of tee-shirts for prizes!!
Sowerby Brothers Cycles are a comprehensive bike and repair shop down in Mirfield. I have used their shop and extensive knowledge for my road and mountain bike requirements. The brothers are well known for supporting local events such as the Mirfield Show and now the Hoppits Hill Races.

Paul Gibbs is welcome known to Steve and I having been neighbour farmers on Liley Lane for 30 years. The farm shop opened up about 15 years ago and has steadily built up a good reputation through selling quality vegetables and nursery plants.
